Acting and me
About Anna Sørensen
Acting has been a hobby for a very long time for me and I want to take it a step further. I really enjoy it and want to learn more, I want to push myself and get out of my comfort zone because I love acting so much. It brings me happiness and joy. I hope to make it part of my future career. I have enjoyed acting since I was very small and as my only real interest. It started off as living room shows where my mother installed a proper curtain across the door to the lounge. These shows eventually turned into full dramatic productions with Spotify playlist accompanying music. I attended a Waldorf/Steiner school from the age of five. Here I was encouraged to express myself during free play in kindergarten. Through the seven years at the school, I participated in several drama productions one of which I was director. From the age of nine, I attended weekly drama lessons with Amanda Douge who has an extensive television and movie career. These drama classes focused on improvisation, play, and more formal acting skills. In the last two years, we have done three large productions, two of which were written by Amanda specifically for the ensemble, and the last being a shortened version of A Midsummer Nights Dream.
My Story So Far....

One-to-one classes
I have also attended weekly one to one acting, singing, and English lessons with Amanda since 2019. During 2020 these lessons were partly to prepare for the LAMDA exam.
